For this project, I wanted to make a really large, heavy lantern, sort of old world looking. I used a gutter guard (that's the mesh) and then black wire. I think it turned out pretty well, but let me know if you can think of any improvements. I feel like it might be missing something, but I'm still pretty satisfied with how it turned out.
i like how simple this looks and how well it was put together. i think it might be interesting if you made another one of these and then put some sort of paper around it (kind of like a chinese lantern) or experimented with different colors of paper that surround the candle, so that the lanterns would give off a different feeling

ReplyDeleteAll of your work is so tight and (sorry) a bit predictable. I think that the materials you are using is good, but you need to move away from everything being perfect. Give me something new and unexpected to look at!
